‘Keys To Ascension’ was originally released in two volumes, in 1996 and 1997, with both albums including new studio material and a live concert split across the two releases.
Recording took place in San Luis Obispo, California, in 1996/97, where the reunited line-up also played three live shows in March 1996. These were the final studio recordings from the reunited classic line up of Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Alan White, and Rick Wakeman, and the first from the quintet since ‘Tormato’ in 1978.
This 2LP set compiles all seven of the studio recordings from both original albums, approximately 75 minutes of music, appearing for the very first time on vinyl!
New artwork by Roger Dean and Mike Inns, and new liner notes by Prog magazine’s Jerry Ewing make this a compelling package for Yes fans old and new.
