Most of our events take the form of Album Launch Shows. These are events organised in partnership with labels and artist / management teams with the aim of promoting an artist's next album release. Tickets are sold as 'album bundles' with each sale counting directly to the artist's first week chart position.

These events normally feature artists playing in more intimate settings compared to their usual live events. As such, Album Launch Shows are a great way to directly support your favourite artists while also seeing them in a space they may not usually play.

So, if you plan on coming to one of our Album Launch Shows, we strongly encourage you to pick up an album bundle as this is the best way to support the artist and to help us ensure we can keep bringing these special shows to Oxford and beyond.

• In-Store album launch shows are events that take place in our intimate Cowley Road store.
• These usually feature artists playing stripped-back or acoustic sets (although we are seeing more and more full band sets!) on our legendary stage, followed by a signing.
• Doors are usually at 6pm and the artist's set normally starts about 15 minutes after doors, so make sure to get down early!
• We usually close the store an hour before doors to get the band set up, please wait outside the shop until doors are open.
• Tickets are sold as album pre-orders and all ticket holders will be able to collect their album at the event (release date dependent, please refer to the specific event details).
• Ticket holders names will be on a doorlist at the event, so don't worry if you haven't received an e-ticket.
• Our in-house bar is open for beer, soft drinks and more at all in-store events.

• Out-Stores are album launch shows that take place at venues external to our stores (usually The Bullingdon or O2 Academy Oxford but we also host events in Birmingham, Leicester and beyond).
• Out-Stores run like normal shows but without a support band so we recommend always arriving at or just after the listed door time.
• Expect a more stripped-back and intimate set which usually lasts around 45 minutes, sometimes with a Q&A or interactive element and a signing where possible.
• Again, tickets are sold as album bundles with every sale directly supporting the artist - please buy an album bundle if you can!
• E-tickets will be issued by our ticketing partner, Gigantic, 24 hours before the event - any issues with ticketing, please contact customerservices@gigantic.com
• Albums can be ordered for store collection or home delivery. Postage orders will be sent out in time for the album's release date. Store collection orders will be available to collect upon the album's release
• For store collect orders, we will send around a survey asking for your collection location (Witney, Oxford or event where applicable). Albums will only be available to collect at the event where the release date falls before the event date.
