Australian jangle pop legends Ups and Downs are back with a brand new EP – their first new music for over 10 years! Radio Is Dead opens with the sing-a-long angst of the title track, which emerges from the static, hooks you in with a killer chorus and trips out in a psychedelic haze. Then it’s straight into the shimmering groove of the single Out Of Thin Air, where the band conjure pure guitar pop with a summery melody and classic harmonies that appear suddenly and stay with you forever. This is Ups and Downs at their sparkling best! Elsewhere, Earth’s Still Spinning is driving interstellar pop where the vocals trade hooks with massive power chords, Haunted House keeps its secrets until its violin-led crescendo, and the EP finishes with the life-affirming instrumental swirls of In My End Is My Beginning – a fitting tribute to Ups and Downs’ 40 years in the business of making great guitar pop. And the front cover of the EP keeps the radio theme going, with a striking photo of the Atkinson brother’s father, Geoff, a one-time popular radio announcer in the band’s hometown of Brisbane. Shipping
- We aim to ship out all orders placed within two working days (except for pre-orders, see below)
- We send all postal orders via Royal Mail's 48 hour tracked service. Your tracking number will be added to your order upon fulfilment

Store Pick Up
- Orders can be placed for collection from either of our stores (Oxford or Witney)
- Let us know which store you would like to collect from either by adding a note to your cart or by emailing orders@truckmusic.store

Pre-Orders
- Pre-ordering is a great way to secure your copy of an album prior to its release date
- We aim to ensure all pre-ordered products are shipped or ready for collection by the album's release date
- Pre-order release dates are subject to change, we will keep the product page up to date with any changes so please refer to this if you are concerned an order hasn't been shipped
