Now, 'Magnolia' returns in a definitive new CD edition featuring a brand-new stereo mix by Bruce Soord, created in 2025, revisiting the original recordings with fresh perspective & enhanced clarity.
'Magnolia' laid the foundations for the band's breakthrough years, preceding the UK Top 75 success of 'Your Wilderness', the UK Top 40 album 'Dissolution', & the critically acclaimed releases that followed, cementing The Pineapple Thief as one of modern progressive rock's most respected acts.
Founded in 1999 by Bruce Soord, The Pineapple Thief have released 15 studio albums & continue to enjoy worldwide acclaim. Since becoming a full-time member in 2016, Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, King Crimson) has helped shape the band's distinctive rhythmic identity, contributing to every studio album from 'Your Wilderness' onwards.
Alongside his work with The Pineapple Thief, Bruce Soord has established himself as one of progressive music's most respected producers & mix engineers. As well as collaborating with Jonas Renkse (Katatonia) in "Wisdom of Crowds", he has created acclaimed surround & Dolby Atmos mixes for artists including Opeth, Jethro Tull, TesseracT & more.
This edition of 'Magnolia' is presented as a 4- panel CD digipack & includes audio mixed by Bruce Soord in 2025 & an 8-page printed booklet.
