The Mars Volta announces their latest album, Lucro Sucio; Unfinished Business, which marks their first official live release since 2005’s Scabdates.
Far from a straightforward live performance of their most recent studio album, Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos del Vacío, this new release is a deep reinterpretation of the source material with an added twist: the band’s invitation for fans to participate in the album-making process.
The project began with a cryptic countdown timer on The Mars Volta’s official website, which revealed an interactive voting mechanism allowing fans to choose which live performances would make the cut. Each track was represented by a cryptic symbol corresponding to the city where the performance was recorded during the band’s acclaimed fall 2025 tour.
Lucro Sucio; Unfinished Business will be available as a Special Edition CD Digipak, Red 2LP, and Digital Album enhanced with Dolby Atmos.

Shipping
