Formed during the explosive rise of the UK psychobilly movement, The Go-Katz built a reputation for combining authentic rockabilly influences with the raw energy and attitude of punk rock. Their distinctive sound, memorable live performances and irreverent sense of humour earned them a devoted following both I Britain and across Europe.
The Go-Katz were the first band to appear on the Raucous Records label. Now, in a very special moment, the band have reformed and are gigging again after a 14 year break – a comeback that coincides with the 40th Anniversary of Raucous Records.
The Go-Katz Will Survive brings together some of the band’s best-loved recordings, showcasing the full range of their musical style, from high-octane psychobilly anthems to darker, more atmospheric material.
More than half of the songs on this collection have never previously appeared on vinyl, and five tracks have never been issued in any physical format before.
Featuring tracks such as Nightmare, Living In Your Shadow, Maniac and Pack Of Lies, the album highlights why The Go-Katz remain such an influential force within the genre.
Presented as both a deluxe double 10” vinyl edition and CD, this collection captures the spirit and energy that made The Go-Katz one of the defining names of British psychobilly.
The band will be promoting the release with a packed schedule of gigs including the Raucous Records 40th Anniversary Alldayer and The Official Monster Raving Looney Party 2016 Conference.

Shipping
