'I Don't Love You Any More', 'Close The Door', 'Turn Off The Lights', 'Can't We Try' and 'Love T.K.O.' were all R'n'B Top 5 hits.
Sadly, a car crash in 1982 left him paralysed but against the odds he rebuilt his life and career, only to be struck down by a respiratory illness following cancer surgery in January 2010 at the age of 59.
