Edinburgh's husband-and-wife dream pop duo, Sarah/Shaun release new four-track EP In Silence Love Speaks Loudest in Feb 2026, completing a triptych of EPs from the band
The new EP is released on limited edition 'Scissorhands Ice Blue' coloured vinyl with a hand-numbered gold riso print sleeve art with obi strip.
Sarah/Shaun wooed hearts and wowed critics with debut EP It's True What They Say? in 2024 plus follow-up EP Someone's Ghost in 2025. They have been featured across the media including BBC Radio 6Music, BBC Radio Scotland, The List and The Skinny. They've played gigs supporting French legends Air, Glaswegian 80s pop legends The Bluebells, Glasgow's huge Glasvegas, a slew of venues across Glasgow and Edinburgh, not to mention the festivals: Kelburn Garden Party, Fringe By The Sea, Kendall Calling, Dunbar Music Festival and Hidden Door Festival. The duo are set to release a full length album in late 2026.
They have received considerable praise, including from David Holmes, Youth, Nemone at BBC 6Music, Sean Johnston, Vic Galloway & Roddy Hart at BBC Radio Scotland, The Skinny, The List, The Scotsman, Jim Sclavunos (Bad Seeds), Simone Butler (Primal Scream), the Monolith Cocktail & Ban Ban Ton Ton blogs, the Ravechild podcast and more.
And the roll call just keeps growing: Rosalie Cunningham invited them to support her at the MacArts Centre, Galashiels; Nadine Shah caught the Edinburgh shows in April both at RSD 25 and the band's EP launch; Pete Kember aka Sonic Boom (Spacemen 3) recently asked to remix the song Filter Of Love (coming soon), Sydney's Roy Molloy (Alex Cameron/Marvellous Crane) interviewed the band for his radio show in Australia and fell so hard for the music, his live sax features on the new EP. Anthony 'Doggen' Foster (Spiritualized) plays guitar on the new record, while Kevin Bales (Spiritualized) has also given both releases to date a resounding thumbs up...
"blending the starry- eyed pop of Sonny & Cher with the electronic experimentation of Chris & Cosey" - Fiona Shepherd (The List)
