Widely regarded as one of the greatest albums of the 1990s, Different Class (released October 30, 1995) was a major critical and commercial success, bringing Pulp international acclaim, winning the 1996 Mercury Music Prize and debuting at number one on the UK Album Chart. It also produced four Top Ten singles, including the number two hits ‘Common People’ and ‘Mis-Shapes/Sorted for E's & Wizz’ .

Remastered and reissued as a 2LP set last year for its 30th anniversary deluxe boxed set, it is being made available as a stand-alone 2LP special edition for the first time for National Album Day. The artist selected ultra clear vinyl for this landmark pressing and it comes housed in a unique gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves that mirror those in the boxed set.
