"A real treat for fans" Classic Rock
"At the peak of their powers" Record Collector
Filmed at Chicago's Park West on 11-12 October 2005 during the 'Deadwing' tour, 'Arriving Somewhere...' captures Porcupine Tree at one of the defining moments of their career. Originally released in 2006 as the band's first concert film, it remains an essential document of one of modern progressive rock's most celebrated live acts.
Featuring Steven Wilson, Richard Barbieri, Colin Edwin, Gavin Harrison & John Wesley, the performance includes classics such as 'Blackest Eyes', 'Lazarus', 'Arriving Somewhere But Not Here', 'Trains', 'Halo' & 'The Sound of Muzak'.
Filmed by Studio M & edited by longtime Steven Wilson collaborator Lasse Hoile, the concert features audio recorded by Mark Prator, mixed by Steven Wilson & mastered by Darcy Proper, with graphic design by Carl Glover.
The Blu-ray presents the complete concert with high-definition video & audio in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, PCM Surround & PCM Stereo, while the complete live soundtrack is also included across two CDs.
Also included are a wealth of bonus features, including performances of 'Futile' & 'Radioactive Toy' from the German Rockpalast TV broadcast, live films for 'The Start of Something Beautiful', 'Halo' & 'Mother & Child Divided', the 'Lazarus' promotional video, Gavin Harrison's 'Cymbal Song', & a photo gallery.
This 2CD/BD edition is presented in a six-panel digipack.
