Originally released in November 2005, Oliver Wakeman’s album “Mother’s Ruin” celebrates its 20th anniversary with a remixed, remastered and expanded release of the album featuring four original mixes with vocals by Paul Manzi (who would provide vocals during the tour in support of the album) and Damian Wilson. The track “Busy Going Nowhere”, previously released on the “Mother’s Ruin EP”, makes its appearance on this anniversary edition, which Oliver considers to be the definitive version of the album he always wanted to release two decades ago.
“It has the hooks and catchiness that is often absent from many progressive rock releases, making it a more accessible album for the masses” – YtseJam
Personnel:
Oliver Wakeman: Piano, Keyboards and Acoustic Guitar
Moon Kinnaird: Vocals
David Mark Pearce: Electric Guitars
Tim Buchanan: Bass Guitar
Dave Wagstaffe: Drums and Percussion
