"Ryujin no Yume" by Marcus D is a lo-fi instrumental album inspired by Japanese mythology and landscapes.
The tracks evoke temples, cityscapes, nature, and the mystical world of a “dragon god’s dream”, unfolding like a journey through a dreamlike realm.
The warm, SP-404-inspired beats combined with elements of jazz and ambient music create a laid-back atmosphere reminiscent of the lineage following Nujabes.
Composed of 27 tracks, the album carefully builds a rich, introspective and atmospheric world through a sequence of shorter pieces.
