New York indie rock four-piece Loose Buttons return with their new full-length album You Came To See Magic.
Hailed by NME as “a new artist we're going mad for” and praised by Stereogum for their “ultra-catchy downtown rock,” the New York City four-piece have spent the last several years steadily building momentum, touring across North America with Del Water Gap, Palace, DICE, Wunderhorse, Last Dinosaurs, and Been Stellar, while earning a devoted following for their hook-filled indie rock. Their breakout single “I Saw Jon Hamm At The Beach” took on a life of its own, eventually reaching Hamm himself, who devoted a segment to the song on National TV in the USA, via The Kelly Clarkson Show.
On ‘You Came To See Magic’, Loose Buttons wrestle with the idea of forever. Across eleven songs, the band explores what it means to spend years chasing a dream with the same people by your side, only to realise that the thing you've been searching for may have been there all along. It's an album about believing in something bigger, sticking with it long enough to see what lasts, and discovering that sometimes the rabbit is already out of the hat.
