Lost Piece Of Mind was recorded live in Oslo in September '88 at the legendary venue Cruise Cafe. The way it happened was spontaneous as two nights were planned and performed in late August. The result was so powerful that we booked two more nights in early September and brought in a mobile truck for live recordings.
The record was mixed at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville and originally released on a Dutch label; Provogue and titled Another Night. This record has been out of print since the early -90s.
After Lee passed in June 2023 I realized I had the tapes of the mix made in Oslo before going to Nashville including a few unreleased tracks. Also I had tapes of our first meet with Lee from a charity show he was part of at the Rockefeller venue in May earlier that year. Lee performed a solo set to massive ovations including. 2 tracks with Steve Young and Tom Russell."
