Bassist and vocalist Kurena Ishikawa, a singular presence in the jazz scene, releases her first full-length album as part of "Record Day 2026 Day 2."
Arriving three years after her 2023 debut mini-album "Kurena," this is Ishikawa’s first self-produced album and features eight songs that have become audience favorites through her live performances.
Alongside her own original compositions, the album includes covers of Roy Ayers’ "Searching" and Minnie Riperton’s "Les Fleurs," both favorites among rare groove listeners. Ishikawa provides vocals on every track.
The album was recorded primarily with her regular collaborators, including Takeshi Ohbayashi, Taka Nawashiro, Gene Jackson, and Kan.

Shipping
