Long overdue, expanded deluxe three-disc revamp of Kim Wilde’s fourth studio album. Originally released in 1984 and a UK National Chart No. 66 hit which also made No. 22 in Germany and No. 84 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the USA.
Kim's first album for MCA, 'Teases & Dares' includes the hit singles 'The Second Time' (UK No. 29, Germany No. 9, Switzerland No. 7, USA No. 65 and Netherlands No. 24), 'The Touch' (UK No. 50, Germany No. 29, and Netherlands No. 20), and 'Rage to Love' (UK No. 19, Germany No. 45).
Kim Wilde was the most successful British female solo artist of the 80s, and in line with our recent curation of her classic 80s and 90s albums, 'Teases & Dares' has now been revisited and repackaged with an incredible selection of bonus tracks plus a DVD.
This deluxe set is expanded with floor-filling 12" mixes, single versions and six previously unreleased alternative takes and rough mixes from the MCA archives. The DVD features the promo videos for the three 'Teases & Dares' singles, the seldom-seen video for Laurent Voulzy's French hit ‘Les Nuits Sans Kim Wilde’ (with a guest appearance from the lady herself) and a comprehensive selection of BBC archive footage, featuring Kim performing on popular TV shows such as Wogan, Top of the Pops and Saturday Night Out!
