In 2018, the Hollywood Vampires took to the prestigious Montreux stage, bringing their mix of theatrical rock, classic covers, and original songs to one of the most renowned festivals in the world. The set moves through a tight, high-energy track list of around 90 minutes, combining fan favorites, deep cuts, and tributes to some of the band’s biggest influences.
The show leans heavily into the Vampires’ core idea: revisiting songs by legendary artists alongside their own material, played with a raw, live feel rather than overproduced polish. Highlights include their take on tracks by rock icons of the past as well as standout moments that showcase the band’s chemistry on stage.
The live album also features several cover versions including “I Got a Line on You” (Spirit), “7 and 7 Is” (Love), and “People Who Died” (The Jim Carroll Band), as well as it pays tribute to some of the biggest names in rock, with versions of The Who’s “Baba O’Riley”, David Bowie’s “Heroes”, AC/DC’s “The Jack”, and Aerosmith’s “Sweet Emotion” plus cover versions that had not previously been released by Hollywood Vampires, including a standout rendition of Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades” as a tribute to Lemmy.

Hollywood Vampires, the self-described “best bar band in the world”, consists of core members and rock legends Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, together with guitarist Tommy Henriksen. Their tradition is to play a riotous tribute to the great lost heroes of music and their own original material, released on their recent studio album “Rise”.
Named after Alice Cooper’s infamous 1970s drinking club, which counted icons such as John Lennon, Keith Moon and Micky Dolenz among its members, the Hollywood Vampires have since delivered unforgettable performances on stages around the world. It is on stage where the band truly comes alive. A place where their chemistry, camaraderie and larger-than-life presence turn every show into a celebration of rock ‘n’ roll at its most authentic, electrifying and timeless.
