Growing Pains are Jack Havrilla, Kalia Storer, Kyle Kraft and Carl Taylor. The Portland, OR-based band have become one of the most buzzed about acts in the Pacific Northwest over the past few years, selling out shows and supporting the likes of Beabadoobee, Water From Your Eyes, Dutch Interior, Rocket, Been Stellar and more.
The band are now gearing up to release their debut album, ‘Daniel Loves Mandy Forever’, via Photo Finish Records. Sonically, the record leans into the intricacy of Midwest emo with power-pop structures. Storer’s voice is a hazy, dreamlike presence, her relative calm amid the turbulence building a gently surreal atmosphere.
‘Daniel Loves Mandy Forever’ is a vibrant, emotionally charged collection of songs that blends power-pop performances and emo subtleties with infectious melodies and intimate songwriting. Co-produced with Strange Ranger’s Nathan Tucker, ‘Daniel Loves Mandy Forever’ aims to solidify the band as a one to watch.
