Veteran music producer Shy, who runs Love Island Studio in South Korea and is widely known for his work in commercial and film music, joins forces with Flower Records' Eitetsu Takamiya to launch FLIS, a new production duo born from more than 20 years of friendship and musical collaboration.
For their debut release, FLIS teams up with Korean-based singer, songwriter, and arranger FRANZE, whose vocal talent first gained attention on Project 301's "You Gotta Be." Together, they breathe new life into Seawind's timeless 1976 crossover/fusion classic "He Loves You," a beloved anthem within the Free Soul scene.
Driven by an irresistibly funky groove, refined musicianship, and FRANZE's expressive vocals, the track has been reimagined with a fresh arrangement and a contemporary sound while preserving the spirit of the original. The stellar backing band features YABU of ONEGRAM on bass, Yota Kobayashi of Reggae Disco Rockers on guitar, and "PLAZA" Fujisaki of Little Big Bee on keyboards.
The B-side features the "DJ KOCO Boogie Mix" by the internationally acclaimed DJ KOCO aka SHIMOKITA. Reconstructed from the perspective of a DJ who knows the 7-inch format inside and out, this remix delivers exactly what its title promises—an irresistible boogie treatment built for the dancefloor and ready for immediate use in any DJ set.
Combining FLIS and FRANZE's fresh interpretation with an all-star lineup of outstanding musicians and DJ KOCO's unmistakable touch, this debut single effortlessly crosses genres and borders, resulting in an uplifting release that is finally ready to be heard.

Shipping
