Originally released in 1982, Rio is Duran Duran's landmark second album and a cornerstone of the early 1980s pop landscape. Fuelled by striking visuals and irresistible synth-driven hooks, the album became a defining force in the so-called 'Second British Invasion' of the US.
Featuring three of the band's most enduring anthems - "Rio," "Hungry Like the Wolf," and "Save a Prayer" - the album catapulted Duran Duran to global superstardom. With artwork by Patrick Nagel and a textured sleeve design, Rio remains an icon of both sound and style.
This 2024 edition is newly cut for vinyl at Abbey Road Studios using the latest remasters, and comes housed in a textured picture sleeve with hype sticker.

Shipping
