Chicken Shack are a British blues rock band founded in 1965 by Stan Webb, Andy Silvester, and Alan Morley, who were later joined by Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie, then still known as Chrstine Perfect. They signed to the legendary British blues label Blue Horizon in 1967.
In The Can from 1980 compiles tunes from their early years and all but five songs indeed feature Christine McVie on vocals and piano. She would join Fleetwood Mac in July 1970, right after recording O.K. Ken? with Chicken Shack.
In The Can is available as a limited edition of 500 copies on blue coloured vinyl.
