Multi-BRIT and 2024 Mercury Prize nominee Cat Burns returns with ‘All This Love’ - a moving ode to love, loss and healing. A follow-up to the sapphic anthem ‘GIRLS!’ released back in January, ‘All This Love’ marks the second teaser from the star’s forthcoming album - How To Be Human - due for release this autumn.
A further showcase of her unmistakable blend of raw authenticity and introspective storytelling, Cat’s tribute to lost loved ones offers a powerful perspective on grief and the journey of redirecting love.
Speaking on ‘All This Love’, Cat said: “All This Love’ is my idea of what grief actually is, which is love with no place to go. Instead of making a really sad song about the people I’ve lost I wanted to make a happier song about life since losing the person, and how I’ve been finding new places to put all this love I can’t give to them anymore.”
The new release lands ahead of Cat’s upcoming appearance at this month’s All Points East on Saturday 23rd August, where she will join a mighty all-female line-up alongside acclaimed favourites Raye, JADE, Doechii and Tyla.
A year on from her prestigious Mercury Prize nod and greatly received top ten album
‘early twenties’, Cat now unveil’s her next major project to the world, How To Be Human.
It’s a deeply personal and introspective record, channeling Cat’s personal thoughts and even voice notes as she’s moves through a huge time of upheaval in her life, into a bright new chapter.
Cat’s written all songs, plus production comes from Rob Milton (Holly Humberstone/Chloe Qisha) plus Jordan Riley, Humble The Great, GG Stok. It will be 16 tracks in duration, including the previous single ‘GIRLS!' and brand new ‘All This Love’.
With 2025 shaping up to be another standout year for Cat, this autumn will also see her grace TV screens, joining a star-studded cast on the UK’s first celebrity edition of The Traitors. Appearing alongside the likes of Alan Carr, Tameka Empson, Paloma Faith and Jonathan Ross, Cat continues to solidify her status as one of the most compelling and versatile voices of her generation, across the music scene and beyond.
