While West Coast hip-hop is often reduced to a narrowset of sounds and styles, the reality of California rap has always been far more expansive. Nowhere is that more evident than in Los Angeles, where the iconic G-Funk legacy exists alongside a thriving independent scene pushing hip-hop in new directions. Few artists embody this intersection as naturally as Blu. Long inspired by the signature sounds of his hometown while rooted in the lyricism and soul of L.A.'s underground, the acclaimed emcee effortlessly bridges these worlds.
His new project LA is a sharp distillation of that artistic identity, paying homage to classic West Coast sonics while painting a layered portrait of life in the City of Angels. To bring that vision to life, Blu linked with Oakland producer Sndtrak, a member of 9th Wonder's Soul Council production collective known for his work with Larry June, Rapsody, and Smif-N-Wessun.
Reimagining vintage West Coast grooves through a fresh lens, Sndtrak provides the ideal backdrop for Blu's sharp writing and grounded storytelling. Featuring Volume 10, Thurz, MED, Iman Omari, Trizz, ICECOLDBISHOP, and more, LA highlights the creative evolution in one of hip-hop's most vital cities.

Shipping

- We send all postal orders via Royal Mail's 48 hour tracked service. Your tracking number will be added to your order upon fulfilment
