Since then, they have captivated listeners worldwide with their distinctive sound, which they define as Renaissance Folk-Rock - a unique genre inspired by the melodies and spirit of the Renaissance era, reimagined through a contemporary lens. Their debut album, “Shadow Of The Moon”, released in 1997, quickly achieved gold status in Japan and garnered international acclaim. It marked the beginning of a remarkable journey. The album embodies everything Blackmore’s Night stands for: warm, melodic songs that celebrate life’s joys, invite listeners to dance, and offer moments of gentle reflection. Now, the 25th Anniversary Edition of “Shadow Of The Moon” is available as a CD jewel case edition, featuring a fully remixed version of the original album and refreshed artwork. This special release also includes two acoustic tracks - “Spirit Of The Sea” and “Shadow Of The Moon” –recorded by Candice and Ritchie during an intimate home session in celebration of the band’s anniversary. What thrilled fans in 1997 continues to inspire today, as this anniversary edition rekindles the magic of Blackmore’s Night’s timeless debut.

Shipping
