Longtime friends Bibio and Dorian Concept reunite for Answers, a collaborative instrumental album set for release on October 16th. Having known each other for over a decade, the pair build on a natural creative rapport shaped through recent joint efforts - including Bibio’s rework of Dorian
Concept’s “Hide” (2024) and their track “An Unopened Letter”, the closer on Dorian Concept’s latest album Miniatures (2025).
Much of Answers was developed remotely, with ideas passed back and forth between Wales and Austria, reflecting both artists’ preference for solitary, process-driven creation. Bibio, an English producer known for blending folk, ambient, and lo-fi tape textures, brings his tactile, guitar-led warmth, while Vienna’s Dorian Concept, a self-taught keyboardist and synth improviser, contributes his fluid, exploratory approach to electronic composition.
Alongside the music, the duo collaborated closely on the album’s visual world, creating video and artwork together, informed by a shared love of vintage cameras and visual play. The result is an instrumental album full of texture that feels less like a debut collaboration and more like a continuation: two distinct voices meeting in a shared language shaped over years of mutual influence and quiet experimentation.

Shipping

- Pre-ordering is a great way to secure your copy of an album prior to its release date
- We aim to ensure all pre-ordered products are shipped or ready for collection by the album's release date
