This title opened Ace's campaign to reissue BB King's prime Bihari-label work, starting with his twelve Crown LPs from 1957-63
Reissued at mid-price with original artwork plus extra alternate, obscure and unissued tracks, compiled by John Broven .

MY KIND OF BLUES (1960) came from a single session with pianist Lloyd Glenn, who also anchored classic sides by T-Bone Walker and Lowell Fulson.
B.B. himself named it a personal favourite, despite typically playing down his budget-label years * Bonus cuts include a Charles Brown 'Drifting Blues' and a 1972 'Walking Dr Bill' featuring Barry Goldberg on piano
