The Almighty were formed in Glasgow, Scotland on January 19, 1988. If the T-Shirt from their 20th Anniversary tour is to be believed, they were; 'Probably the best band in Strathaven', a brilliant comedy take on the Carlsberg logo and tag line! Most of the musicians who made up the group had a distinctly punk background. Lead singer Ricky Warwick had previously done some session and tour work with New Model Army, although he does not feature on any of their recordings. In January 2008, a full length UK tour took place to mark the bands twentieth anniversary. These shows played to packed venues and included a fans dream set list, containing some numbers which hadn't seen the light of day since they were first written.
This limited edition 'Aztec gold' coloured vinyl features the highlights of the band's set.
