De legendarische band The Scene leverde in 1990 een van de meest invloedrijke Nederlandstalige rockalbums ooit af: Blauw. Een plaat die niet alleen de tijd trotseerde, maar ook een generatie definieerde. Met iconische nummers als “Blauw” en “Iedereen Is Van De Wereld” groeide het album uit tot een cultureel ankerpunt, bekroond met een Edison in 1991 en nog altijd een vaste waarde in de Nederlandse muziekgeschiedenis

Aangedreven door de poëtische, gelaagde teksten van Thé Lau, zanger, gitarist en componist, ademt Blauw een unieke sfeer. Lau liet zich voor de titeltrack inspireren door het karakteristieke kleurgebruik van Griekse restaurants, terwijl “Iedereen Is Van De Wereld” uitgroeide tot een verbindend volkslied dat de hele samenleving omarmt.

Blauw is nu exclusief verkrijgbaar als gelimiteerde editie op tie-dye blauw en zwart gekleurd vinyl en bevat een inlegvel met songteksten.
