Mexican born artist Girl Ultra (Mariana de Miguel) has swiftly become one of the leading voices in Latin R&B. Known for her innovative production, relatable lyrics and contemporary beats, Girl Ultra has captured the hearts of audiences both in her native Mexico and internationally.
With one album and three EPs under her belt, GU returns with her new EP ‘blush’ which embodies a whole new palette of sounds that blend dry, clean vocals, bare acoustic guitars, and driving drums with a clubby approach. Recorded and mixed in the vibrant backdrop of Mexico City with an intimate team of close friends, the highly anticipated 7 tracker is a deeply emotive narrative that speaks to the tumultuous intersection of attraction, desire, and melancholy—themes that resonate profoundly with today's youth.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of musical and cultural influences, her EP is a nod to St. Etienne, early Björk, Frou Frou, Royksopp’s ‘Melody AM’, Erlend Oye’s DJ Kicks, and Dean Blunt’s gritty sound processing, along with the lyrical stylings of celebrated Mexican artists Ely Guerra and Julieta Venegas.

Shipping
- We aim to ship out all orders placed within two working days
- We send all postal orders via Royal Mail's 48 hour tracked service. Your tracking number will be added to your order upon fulfilment

Store Pick Up
- Orders can be placed for collection from either of our stores (Oxford or Witney)
- Let us know which store you would like to collect from either by adding a note to your cart or by emailing orders@truckmusic.store
- We aim to have your order ready within two working days (except for pre-orders, see below)
Pre-Orders
- Pre-ordering is a great way to secure your copy of an album prior to it's release date
- We aim to ensure all pre-ordered products are shipped or ready for collection by the album's release date
- Pre-order release dates are subject to change, we will keep the product page up to date with any changes so please refer to this if you are concerned an order hasn't been shipped
