As a Brazilian listener, it's impossible not to draw parallels with Antropoceno's *No Ritmo da Terra*. Both records seem to belong to a new wave of artists reconnecting extreme music with nature, ancestry, and cultural identity. Yet Kaatayra's voice remains unmistakably its own. Instead of the frozen landscapes traditionally associated with black metal, Caio Lemos transports the listener into the humid, spiritual heart of the Brazilian rainforest.
The album's greatest strength lies in its seamless fusion of seemingly opposing worlds. Ferocious blast beats, tremolo-picked guitars, and anguished screams coexist naturally with delicate acoustic passages inspired by Brazilian folk traditions, ritualistic percussion, and the constant presence of flowing water.
