With Resonance, Acid Arab delivers an electronic project conceived as a true translation between cultures, eras, and musical currents
The group brings together Eastern elements and electronic textures, giving them equal importance. Far from any folklore, irony, or exoticism, they craft a musical landscape freed from geography: a dance space where the celebration of diverse cultures honors a profoundly humanistic unity. An Acid Arab track seeks neither to impose itself nor to prove anything. It opens up a space of fusion, of both bodies and minds.
With this fourth album, the group reaffirms its core principles: collaborations with artists from the Arab world, meticulous attention to sound and production, here enriched by the unique contribution of an external producer, who brings in new expertise to the table.
Guests :
-- Yasmine Hamdan, a leading figure in contemporary Arabic music, originally from southern Lebanon. After two collaborations centered on remixes, this marks their first joint creation.
-- Ghita Lahmamassi, a multifaceted Moroccan artist: singer, model, actress, influencer, and pilot. She embodies boundless creative energy.
-- Sofiane Saidi, one of the most powerful voices to emerge from Algeria, a loyal collaborator of the group who previously appeared on *La Hafla* (2016) and *Leila* (2022).
-- Ghizlane Melih, who was a guest on the previous album with "Habaytak," continues her journey with her own project, the group Nashwa.
-- Cheba Ibtissem, an Algerian singer known for her performances on stage, on YouTube, and at weddings, alongside major figures in the local music scene.
-- Wael Alkak reunites with Acid Arab four years after Ya Mahla with a new anthem that is politically charged, percussive, and electrifying. Now based in Damascus once again, he continues his artistic journey in a profoundly renewed context.
