Pavilion are proud to announce a new compilation Break the Glass, Burn the Cage (The Sound of Indie Punk Rock). This compilation celebrates all that is Indie and Punk. Immerse yourself in cramped and sweaty grassroots venues with these bands’ electrifying guitar riffs, infectious basslines and voices that require being heard. Featuring standout tracks from Lime Garden, SPRINTS, Lambrini Girls, Sunflower Bean, English Teacher, Dream Wife, Panic Shack, Big Joanie and more, this compilation channels the raw energy and rebellious spirit that can only be acquired through caring deeply about the injustices and hatred seen in this world. It is a sonic journey through the angst, passion, fun and freedom found through “sticking it to the Man”.

Break the Glass, Burn the Cage (The Sound of Indie Punk Rock) is announced coinciding with International Women’s Day 2025 as a charity record, and all the tracks on this record have kindly been donated by the bands for free. This means that for every sale, the entirety of the profits will go to our two chosen charities that do their utmost to help women and girls from all backgrounds and ages, covering everything from domestic abuse, bereavement, homelessness and war - Brighton Women's Centre & War Child.

Brighton Women’s Centre - “BWC has been supporting self-identifying women in Sussex for 50 years. We are run for women by women. We help women from all backgrounds facing all kinds of issues, to live happier lives. We work with many of the most marginalised women across Sussex, including women who are homeless or insecurely housed, women involved in the criminal justice system, survivors of abuse and discrimination, elderly women, women on low incomes, living in poverty and those struggling with long-term mental and physical health conditions. We provide support in safe, accessible, women-only, community spaces, working with women in a trauma-informed way.”

War Child - Clare Sanders-Wright, Live Music Lead at War Child UK said; "One child caught in conflict is too many. War Child works in 13 countries around the world to provide specialist psychological support to help children process their trauma, as well as food, water, education and more to children who desperately need it, living in or fleeing from conflicts they didn't start. We're incredibly grateful to everyone that supports our work, however that may be. From the artists and their teams who have donated the product of their immense creativity to create this album, to the music fans buying copies, your donations will no doubt make a huge impact on the life of a child who is in dire need of support. Thank you."

Break the Glass, Burn the Cage (The Sound of Indie Punk Rock) is announced in time for International Women’s Day, and is scheduled to be released on 9th May 2025. The record will be released on both Limited Edition Recycled Vinyl and CD formats.
