DESCRIPTION:
The CD Player 4 utilises a dual 18-bit AD-1864N DAC from Analog Devices and an 8x oversampling digital filter to minimize distortion. The unit is well-regarded for its solid build, featuring an all-metal faceplate, including the drawer.
Outputs include a headphone jack, a digital coaxial RCA output, and a standard stereo L/R RCA output. The CD 4 uses a Sony KSS-210A CD transport mechanism, the standard for many Japanese players of the era.
