CD1 opens in style with the ultimate holiday anthem, Wham!’s ‘Club Tropicana’, before iconic movie moments with Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes’ ‘(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life’, Irene Cara’s ‘Flashdance… What A Feeling’ and Kenny Loggins’ ‘Footloose’. Sun-drenched pop classics from Blondie, Laura Branigan, Bananarama and Katrina & The Waves lead into huge hits from The Bangles and Belinda Carlisle, while Sade and Tina Turner bring timeless sophistication. Electro and freestyle favourites are up next, led by the unforgettable ‘Walkin’ On Sunshine’ from Rockers Revenge feat. Donnie Calvin and including Freeez, Shannon, Maria Vidal and Michael Sembello, while Womack & Womack’s ‘Teardrops’ sounds as fresh today as it did back in the ‘80s.
