CD1 opens in style with the ultimate holiday anthem, Wham!’s ‘Club Tropicana’, before iconic movie moments with Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes’ ‘(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life’, Irene Cara’s ‘Flashdance… What A Feeling’ and Kenny Loggins’ ‘Footloose’. Sun-drenched pop classics from Blondie, Laura Branigan, Bananarama and Katrina & The Waves lead into huge hits from The Bangles and Belinda Carlisle, while Sade and Tina Turner bring timeless sophistication. Duran Duran, Haircut 100 and ABC deliver pure 80s pop gems, before the disc closes with an irresistible trio of Euro-pop favourites from Baltimora, Desireless and Ryan Paris, plus feel-good sing-a-longs from Ashford & Simpson and Sister Sledge.
CD2 opens with dancefloor gold from The Communards with Sarah Jane Morris, Whitney Houston and Billy Ocean, before ‘80s disco classics from Shakatak, Shalamar, Odyssey and KC & The Sunshine Band. Electro and freestyle favourites are up next, led by the unforgettable ‘Walkin’ On Sunshine’ from Rockers Revenge feat. Donnie Calvin and including Freeez, Shannon, Maria Vidal and Michael Sembello, while Womack & Womack’s ‘Teardrops’ sounds as fresh today as it did back in the ‘80s. Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine’s ‘Conga’ and DeBarge’s ‘Rhythm Of The Night’ bring latin-pop heat, and Arrow’s carnival anthem ‘Hot Hot Hot’ leads into a sunshine gem from Amazulu. Beach-ready soft rock is next from The Beach Boys with ‘Kokomo’, Toto’s ‘Africa’ and Chris Rea’s ‘On The Beach’ alongside gems from Robin Beck and Billy Idol. CD4 wraps up this scorching collection with more timeless feel-good Summer classics, opening with Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers’ ‘Islands In The Stream’, Dexys Midnight Runners’ ‘Come On Eileen’ and The Bluebells’ ‘Young At Heart’. Dance-pop favourites from Rick Astley, Sinitta, Sabrina and Tight Fit feature along with Jason Donovan’s #1 cover of ‘Sealed With A Kiss’. Pan-European hits are up next including the #1 ‘Seven Tears’ from the Goombay Dance Band along with The Art Company, Modern Talking and Spagna. Shipping
- We aim to ship out all orders placed within two working days
- We send all postal orders via Royal Mail's 48 hour tracked service. Your tracking number will be added to your order upon fulfilment
