There’s a reason this was the best-selling record on the Roadrunner label till Slipknot’s first; the “Let freedom ring with a shotgun blast” refrain to the album-opening song “Davidian” (inspired by the 1993 Waco Siege) is brilliant and chilling, full of the rage that led to that bloody day with menacing music to match.
