Alpha Cassiopeiae - Shadows Alpha Cassiopeiae

Alpha Cassiopeiae is the brightest star in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is also a Lyon-based nu-jazz instrumental duo who, after opening for Tigran Hamasyan, GoGo Penguin and Chassol in France, unveil their debut album, Shadows. Conceived as a succession of cinematic sequences, the album traces inner trajectories between tension and contemplation. Without explicit narration, each track suggests immersive sonic landscapes. The project’s musical and visual universe draws inspiration from the aerospace imagination of the 1970s. On stage, the duo extends this aesthetic through costumes that reinforce the sense of immersion. The release of Shadows will be accompanied by several concerts, including opening slots for Emile Londonien, international dates, and release parties at Les Étoiles in Paris and Le Périscope in Lyon.
