Turnover – Myself In The Way, Dinked Edition
Dinked 211 is the new album from Virginian indie rockers Turnover. Over the past 10 years, Turnover have developed from a pop-punk powerhouse into an altogether more subtle and complex dream-pop outfit. Now, for their fifth album, the band have changed up their sound once again, now embracing the psych-rock sounds of the 60s and 70s, alongside a tighter rhythm section taken straight from classic disco records. Long-time collaborator Will Yip (Ceremony, mewithoutyou, Bartees Strange) is once again in the producer’s seat, this time alongside lead singer Austin Getz, with the band pushing into new sonic territory including the creative use of Autotune and vocoders, as well as panning inspired by classic Beatles and Pink Floyd records. Myself In The Way is released on November 4th by Run For Cover.
The Dinked Edition of Myself In The Way is on 400 limited yellow LP with an exclusive postcard set and bonus 7″ single.
