We’re back with Dinked 191, the long-awaited third album from Chichester punks TRAAMS. After a 7 year break following 2015’s Modern Dancing, TRAAMS return with their most fully formed album yet, fusing their driving post-punk sound with a heavy Krautrock influence. Having unofficially split in 2017, the band found an increasing urge to reconnect during the pandemic, leading to discussions, rehearsals, and eventually recordings. The result is personal best, a collection of some of the band’s strongest songwriting to date, with restrictions putting them out of their comfort zone and making them embrace drum machines and synths. Guest vocals from Liza Violet (Menace Beach), Soffie Viemose (Lowly) and Joe Casey (Protomartyr) complete a release that’s sure to appeal to fans of bdrmm, Squid, WH Lung and Warmduscher. personal best is released on July 22nd by Fat Cat Records.
The Dinked Edition of personal best is on 500 limited blue LP with 4 exclusive postcards, a 24″ x 12″ foldout poster and an illustrated inner sleeve.
