Dinked 135 comes from London-based psych-rocker Tess Parks. Best known for her collaborations with The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s Anton Newcombe, Tess Parks first came onto the scene with her excellent 2013 debut album, Blood Hot. 9 years later, Parks is returning with an album that almost didn’t happen; started in 2019, And Those Who Were Seen Dancing pieces together works from the next 2 years, including a period where the artist gave up on music entirely. The result, however, is stunning: noise pop melodies play off psychedelic freakouts with just a dash of French Ye-Ye songwriting for good measure. And Those Who Were Seen Dancing is released by Fuzz Club on 24th June. (note changed release date)
The Dinked Edition of And Those Who Were Seen Dancing is on 500 limited and hand-numbered 180g ultra-clear with red, yellow and blue splatter LP with an exclusive flexi-disc and fold-out poster.
