Dinked 157 is a big one – the new album from Texan indie rock legends Spoon! Following on from 2017’s groove-heavy Hot Thoughts, the band find themselves embracing a more streamlined vision of rock with Mark Rankin (Bombay Bicycle Club, Queens Of The Stone Age) and Justin Raisen (Kim Gordon, Yves Tumour) behind the boards. The result is some of Spoon’s most direct work to date, featuring downtuned guitars, blown out drums and even an amped-up Smog cover! Lucifer On The Sofa is released on February 11th by Matador.
