We’re back with Dinked 202 – the new album from singer-songwriter Rachael Dadd. Following her brilliant 2019 album Flux, Rachael Dadd found herself looking inwards. Feeling isolated from her community and separated from her usual life touring Japan, Dadd created a kind of solace for herself in songwriting, writing lyrics that are both deeply personal and yet somehow universal. For the recording process, Dadd recruited the talents of Rob Pemberton (Emily Barker, The Staves) to co-produce, alongside collaborators including Maja Lena (Low Chimes) and Emma Gatrill (Willy Mason), alongside the producer of Flux, Marcus Hamblett. The result is a beautifully textured album featuring Dadd’s signature off-kilter rhythms and densely layered instrumentals, perfect for fans of This is the Kit, Rozi Plain and Cosmo Sheldrake. Kaleidoscope is released on October 14th by Memphis Industries.
The Dinked Edition of Kaleidoscope is on 300 limited and hand-numbered splatter LP with an exclusive bonus CD EP featuring Rozi Plain and This is the Kit.
