It’s pretty safe to say that Gnod are one of the most exciting (and loudest) bands on the UK live circuit with their unrelentingly pulverising and unpredictable shows, and this has always carried over to their studio releases. For their latest album, Gnod continue with the streamlined brutality they developed with 2017’s Just Say No… and 2018’s Chapel Perilous, fusing angular post-punk noise with nihilistic No-Wave vocals and a twin-drummer rhythm section akin to a runaway train. Recorded live in one room, La Mort Du Sens is electric, perfectly capturing the thrill of their live sound – fans of Sex Swing, Daughters and Melvins will love this!
