Once again we’re unsealing the Dinked Archive, this time for a reissue of Scottish composer Craig Armstrong’s legendary 2002 colossus, As If To Nothing. Featuring a whole cast of guest musicians ranging from Bono to Mogwai, via Photek and King Crimson, As If To Nothing captured the sound of post-trip-hop British music, combining atmospheric electronics with stunning orchestral arrangements. Never before released on vinyl, the album has now received a full Abbey Road remaster and is cut at half-speed with reimagined artwork. As If To Nothing is reissued on December 9th by Hydrogen Dukebox.
The Dinked Archive Edition of As If To Nothing is on 500 limited and numbered clear 2LP with a bonus 10″ single featuring a lost track, an embossed sleeve and an exclusive signed booklet.
