Dinked 195 comes courtesy of new techno duo Belief. Formed of Boom Bip and Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa, Belief make techno that harkens back to the golden age of rave culture, heavily influenced by the music of legendary acts like 808 State and LFO. The bones of the project began at a jam session in 2017, with this improvisational composition carrying through to the recording of the album. Belief touches on the electronic cornerstones of acid house, deep house, ambient techno and IDM, recalling the legends of the 90s without ever feeling retro or dated. Belief is released on August 5th by Lex Records.
The Dinked Edition of Belief is on 400 limited Sherbet Lemon 180g LP with a bonus flexidisc, holographic sticker and an exclusive holographic sleeve.
