Di’Anno then fronted a series of bands in the early 1980s, including \u003cstrong\u003eLonewolf, Di’Anno\u003c\/strong\u003e and the NWOBHM super-group, \u003cstrong\u003eGogmagog\u003c\/strong\u003e, before forming Battlezone in 1985 when he joined forces with Tokyo Blade’s John Wiggins plus J\u003cstrong\u003eohn Hurley\u003c\/strong\u003e from \u003cstrong\u003eDeep Machine\u003c\/strong\u003e, both on lead guitar, the line-up completed by \u003cstrong\u003ePeter West\u003c\/strong\u003e on bass and \u003cstrong\u003eBob Falck\u003c\/strong\u003e on drums. Signing to Powerstation Records, they released ‘Fighting Back’ in 1986, produced with \u003cstrong\u003eIan Richardson\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBy the time Battlezone came to record 1987’s ‘Children Of Madness’, for Raw Power, Hurley and Falck had been replaced by guitarist \u003cstrong\u003eGraham Bath\u003c\/strong\u003e and drummer \u003cstrong\u003eSteve Hopgood\u003c\/strong\u003e, both from \u003cstrong\u003ePersian Risk\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJoining forces with Battlezone’s Graham Bath and Steve Hopgood, Paul Di’Anno’s new band, \u003cstrong\u003eKillers\u003c\/strong\u003e, was completed by \u003cstrong\u003eCliff Evans\u003c\/strong\u003e on bass and \u003cstrong\u003eGavin Cooper\u003c\/strong\u003e on guitar, that line up is featured on CD3 recorded live at Los Angeles’ Whisky A Go Go in 2000.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e‘Rising Star’, a track which originally appeared on the ‘Warchild’ compilation is included as a bonus track on CD1, and ‘To The Limit’, originally only a Japanese exclusive, plus ‘Drawn Under’ from the 1989 ‘Elementals: UK HM’ compilation, are added as bonus tracks on CD2.
