We’re back with Dinked 94, the debut solo album from Wild Belle member Natalie Bergman. Mercy is released on May 7th by Third Man Records.
In her work with her brother in their duo, Wild Belle, Natalie Bergman has explored the world of island music, working with artists such as Major Lazer and Beck, but her debut solo album finds her going back to her roots. Mercy is a collection of tracks heavily influenced by gospel, as Bergman mourns the recent loss of her father. Steeped in the sounds of classic psych rock and soul, Mercy is a beautifully cathartic album, entirely written and recorded by Bergman herself.
