We’re back for Dinked 107 – the new album from Nashville alt-country legends Lambchop! Showtunes is released on May 21st by City Slang.
Kurt Wagner is back to follow up last year’s covers record TRIP with a wholly different proposition. Showtunes is the result of Wagner converting his guitar tracks to MIDI and playing them back as a piano, opening up a new world of sonic possibilities for the band, and resulted in something wholly new for Lambchop – an album of of showtunes inspired by Tom Waits, Randy Newman and the Great American Songbook. This is a brilliant new chapter from a band who never put a foot wrong!
