Dinked 217 is the sophomore album from London experimental post-punk trio Girls In Synthesis. Known for their unpredictable and thrilling live shows, Girls In Synthesis first came to our attention with a string of excellent early singles and a fantastic debut album to boot. Now, for their second album, the trio have darkened their sound, reflecting the uncertain conditions around its recording between lockdowns. Claustrophobic and restless, The Rest Is Distraction turns the band’s usual acerbic lyricism inwards, documenting the mental anguish and isolation of the past few years with visceral backing. The Rest Is Distraction is released on October 14th by Own It Records.
