We’re back with Dinked 97, the debut album from Dublin spoken word and electronic artist For Those I Love. For Those I Love is released on March 26th by September Recordings.
For Those I Love is the project of Dublin songwriter and producer David Balfe, formerly of Burnt Out. Following the death of his Burnt Out bandmate and fellow poet Paul Curran, Balfe began to compose this album, exploring the rawness of early grief, love, loss and pain through brutally honest spoken word pieces, over dark, club-inspired electronica. This is a stunning album, perfect for fans of the gritty poetry of Kae Tempest and The Streets, and the dark rave nostalgia of Burial and Jamie XX.
